“ Delicious! Possibly the most mouthwatering, juicy fried chicken I've ever had in my life. The breading was crisp, and chicken was so so moist! All of the flavors in the chicken sandwich were fantastic, and the big bird sauce was so good. I got the medium spice level, which was spicy, but not unbearable. I wish they used a bun with a bit more integrity, as it got a bit too soggy. The fries were crispy and great, and I normally don't like crinkle cut fries! It was a wonderful, cost-efficient meal that I look forward to having again and again. ”
“ Good flavor hot chicken!! If you get the 2 sandwiches, it's enough for 1 very hungry person. The plate size was a bit disappointing in size, so I recommend you getting the 2 chicken sandwiches if you're hungry. I can handle a little spice, but not too much. The mild spice here wasn't very spicy, so I'd recommend medium if you can handle a little spice. For the price, and the flavor, this place goes in my book for a budget meal! Seating inside the store is very limited with a few tables outside. Shop was busy, but we got our order fairly quick. Will come again! There was plenty of parking in the lot. ”
“ Soooooo goooooooodddd!!!! Just WOW! I will say, we like to try all the local hot chicken spots. Out of all the spots we've tried which is pretty much all the known hot chicken spots in the DMV I would put this as 3rd. The only reason it gets third is cause their chicken isn't as juicy and the spice level for the hot wasn't very hot. So flavor could be slightly better on the actual chicken sandwich. It's basically like a Dave's Hot Chicken. If you choose the loaded fries and chicken option it beats a lot of places, you can rank it number 1. It was soooooo delicious with all the flavors combined. The best part is - ITS COST EFFECTIVE It's a casual spot, this location is small with hardly any seats. There were maybe 4 booths that can fit a group of 5-6. Service was chill, the food took a few minutes but it was a busy night. We probably waited for only 15 mins max. ”
“ Tasty and inexpensive. The sandwiches have a good amount of vegetables (like a broccoli slaw) on them - no cheese needed. Two sandwiches and fries for $9.99!!??? Yaaaas! This means I can feed four (little) people for $20 instead of more like $80. Even though the chicken is fried, it still feels healthier than let's say Chick-fil-A or Wendy's. If they had nuggets, milkshakes, and drive thrus, I wouldn't remember that Chick-fil-A existed. Well-seasoned halal chicken, it comes out fairly quickly, clean restaurant, decent service and a few seating areas (four booths) and bathrooms. Perfect timing as I had just started seriously boycotting other fast food places. Also the sauces are good. I found the rice bowl to be less chicken than expected. I wouldn't order that again but maybe I just received a small tender. Anyways, I'm a fan. ”
“ My second time at red bird and I did not remember it being this good! We got the same order as before, 2 chicken tenders and the chicken rice bowl. The tenders were cooked so well and the seasoning on it was delicious. The chicken rice bowl was good and the veggies taste so fresh. I do think their Mac and cheese isn't the best. It has an interesting aftertaste so could be skipped next time. Prices are hard to beat too! ”
“ Wow the chicken tenders and bowls are good. What a vibrant and fun location! When it's cold outside, a great place to warm up. Am glad it's been opened. The only complaint I have, is parking at Cedar Point mall can be a pain. Then again that's every strip mall in the area. Definitely be careful. Once inside you can dine in, or go for takeout. The chicken is legit delicious. Also kudos to the friendly employees. This restaurant hires well. It's an accepting and welcoming spot, to get tasty foods and relax a bit. Ic you're close by, you'll want to try this out. Clean establishment! ”
“ The red bird is my favorite hot chicken place by far! Amazing prices, fresh food, self serve sauces, whats not to love? My brother and I came her and we got the chicken sandwich combo and tenders. The food is well spiced and everything is fresh. We liked that there was the option to fill up your own sauce cups and that there were many to choose from. Service was quick with only a few minute wait. The restaurant is small but it does have a few booths to eat at if you prefer to sit down. Everything was clean and well maintained. We will be back! ”

The Takeaways: * Crispy, crunchy, mouthwatering hot chicken and it is served fresh out of the grease hot. * The cole slaw on the sandwich meshed well with the flavor of the chicken. I personally didn't like how stringy it was. It kept falling off of the sandwich. * The service was pretty fast. * This restaurant has 4 menu items so it shouldn't be hard to make up your mind. * The music was rocking and like I always do, I started dancing. Overall it's a good place for my 1st time there. I always give great reviews for my 1st visit because I receive a good experience the 1st time. “ FOOD We had their #2 combo (two sandwiches and fries) for $9.99. For the portions, this was an incredible deal. We got the hot spicy level, and it had a good kick to it. It wasn't as spicy as I thought it'd be, so when returning I would get their extra hot instead. The fries were also pretty good, and the variety of sauces were to die for. Their classic sauce was the typical fried chicken sauce but had a stronger paprika flavor, which I enjoyed. Their mustard sauce was light and airy but still packed a punch, and their ranch and hot sauces were also solid options. My only complaint was that the sauces were a little on the watery end, so would have preferred them a bit thicker. DRINKS The staff provided us complementary fountain drinks! There's options ranging from Coke, Sprite, to Hi-C. SERVICE The staff are incredibly kind and friendly! The guy at the front was very personable and told us about the history and expansion of the place. AMBIANCE The interior is very neat and tidy, and there are two bathrooms in the back (separated by gender). 3-4 booths are available at the side of the store, but it is largely a grab-and-go establishment so the waiting area takes up most of the space. PARKING Ample parking is available in the lot shared by neighboring stores. ”
